My first bite in the winter wonderland that is Denver was from Dime store Delibar a spot in the Highland neighborhood. My friend from Philly who knows a great sandwich implored me to go there and was positive I would not be disappointed. We were not disappointed in the slightest, with their homemade salt and vinegar chips and saucy chicken parmesan. I wish I had a spot like that near me in Los Angeles, to say the least. It was at a great price point and comes in a filling portion. I had no complaints and almost returned a second time before my weekend in Denver was over. I still kick myself for not making it over for another one of their great sandwiches.
